You know i make quite a lot of rasam as a part of my lunch. I like to experiment with it. You wont believe how many rasam recipe i have in my blog, you have to check here to see it. And you wont believe that i have 4 more rasam recipe waiting to be posted. All these are because of my love for rasam. This is not like my other rasam. It can be made in less than 5 to 7 mins. It is like a pro, throw few things in a blender, puree it and boil it, thats it. You have a yummy rasam.
Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 3 to 4 mins
Serves : 4 to 5
Ingredients:
Tomatoes - 2 medium size chopped
Garlic - 4 cloves
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Tamarind Pulp - 2 tblspn
Oil - 1 tsp
Water - 2.5 cups
Coriander Leaves - a small handful finely chopped
Method:
Take all the ingredients except oil and water in a blender and make it into a smooth puree.
Heat oil in a pan, add the puree and add in water.
Bring it to boil, Once it reaches boil, turn the heat off and add in coriander leaves.
Mix well and serve with rice.
