I was thinking of posting karthigai deepam recipes, but couldn't make it up. So i am sharing a recipe which i made for navrathri. This is a simple recipe which takes place in all festive occasions. This is a simple version which is made with only banana, there is another version which is made with mixed fruits. Will share it soon..

Preparation Time : 5 to 7 mins
Serves : 2 to 3
Ingredients:
Ripe Banana - 2 large or 7 small ones
Jaggery / Palm Sugar / Sarkarai / Gur - 4 tblspn
Fresh Coconut - 3 tblspn grated
Cardamom Powder / Yelakai Podi - 1 tsp
Ghee - 1 tsp
Method:
Take jaggery, coconut, cardamom, ghee in a bowl and beat well.
Add in sliced bananas and mix well.
Let it sit for 30 mins before serving.
Fresh Coconut - 3 tblspn grated
Cardamom Powder / Yelakai Podi - 1 tsp
Ghee - 1 tsp
Method:

Add in sliced bananas and mix well.
Let it sit for 30 mins before serving.

Peel your bananas |
slice them up |
Take grated jaggery in a bowl |
add in grated coconut |
add in cardamom powder |
and a tsp of ghee |
Mix them well |
After a while it will be all combined.. |
Add in sliced bananas |
Mix well |
Serve |
