Streusal Cake are my favourite. It makes the cake taste delicious with the crunchy topping. This cake has a ton of cinnamon flavour and turns out really soft.

Ingredients:
For Batter:
All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup / 120 grams
Baking Powder - 1.5 tsp
Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
Milk - 5 tblspn or as needed
For Streusal topping:
All Purpose Flour / Maida - 4 tblspn
Sugar - 3 tblspn
Cinnamon Powder - 1 tsp
Cold Unsalted Butter - 2 tblspn
Badam / Almonds - 1/4 cup chopped
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180 degree C. Prepare a loaf pan by buttering it on all sides and flouring it well. Set aside.
Now start by making the streusal topping. Take flour, sugar, cinnamon powder in a bowl. Add in cold butter cubes and use a fork to press it so it forms into crumbles. Add in badam and fork it through. Now set this in fridge till you make the batter.
Now make the batter. Take flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon powder in a bowl and mix well
Take butter, sugar and vanilla in a bowl and beat till it gets creamy.
Now add in egg and beat well.
Add in half of the flour mix and mix well. Add in milk and fold well.
Add in the remaining flour and mix well.
Pour this batter into the prepared pan. Top with the streusal topping. Bake it for 35 to 40 mins, insert a skewer to see whether the cake is done, if the skewer comes out clean then it is done.
Remove it and cool it completely.
Invert to a cooling rack and slice and serve.
