Chicken Noodles Recipe - Street Food Style


In my place, there is a small portable shop, they sell all indo chinese food. My favorite dish in that is a amazing chicken noodles and chicken pakoda..It taste so amazing. It is not like normal chicken noodles, that noodles has amazing fried chicken pieces tossed all over it and it is hot and spicy..


I got few request from my viewer to post chicken noodles recipe. So i decided to try it and it turned out great. I will soon share a restaurant style noodles recipes soon..So try this out and let me know how it turns out..



Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 40 to 45 mins
Serves : 4 

Ingredients:


Egg Noodles - 1 packet / 200 grams
Oil - 4 tblspn
Garlic - 5 cloves chopped finely
Onions - 1 large sliced thinly
Green Chillies - 4 chopped
Chicken - 250 grams (boneless prefered)
Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1 tsp
Ajinomoto a pinch (optional)
Soy Sauce - 1 tblspn or to taste
Pepper Powder - 2 tsp
Spring Onion a handful finely chopped

Method:


Take chicken in a bowl, add in salt, chilli powder and garam masala powder. Mix well and set aside.

Bring lots of water to boil. Once it boils, salt it and add in noodles in it and cook as per package directions. Drain it and toss well with some oil. Set aside.

Heat oil in a kadai. Add in the marinated chicken and stir till it is well seared. Cover it and simmer for 15 mins till the chicken is cooked. Drain the chicken in a bowl.

Now in the remaining oil, add in garlic, onions and chillies. Saute for 2 mins.

Add in salt, sugar and ajinomoto if using. Mix well.

Add in cooked noodles and toss well. 

Add in fried chicken, soy sauce and pepper, Mix well.

Add in spring onion and toss well.

Serve.

add in some salt

add in a packet of egg noodles

cook till done

drain it

drizzle some oil over it and toss it well
Take your other ingredients

Take chicken in a bowl, boneless is good

Add in chilli powder, salt and garam masala powder

mix well

Heat oil in a kadai

Add in marinated chicken

saute till seared

Cook for few mins

cover and cook

Cook till the chicken is done

remove it well

Now in the oil

Add in garlic, onions and chilles

saute for couple of mins

Add in salt, sugar and ajinomoto(if using)

cook for few mins

add in cooked noodles

toss well in the masala

drizzle some soya sauce

toss well

add in fried chicken pieces

some crushed pepper

toss well 

serve

    Ingredients:

    Black Eyed Peas / Karamani / Lobia - 1 cup dried
    Oil - 2 tblspn
    Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
    Fennel Seeds / Saunf / Sombu - 1 tsp
    Cinnamon / Pattai - 2 cm piece
    Onions - 1 large chopped finely
    Green Chillies - 2 pricked with a knife
    Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
    Coriander Powder / Malli Podi - 1 tblspn
    Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1 tsp
    Cumin Powder / Jeera Podi - 1 tsp
    Salt to taste
    Sugar - 1 tsp
    Tomato Puree - 1/2 cup ( I used storebought)
    Milk - 1 cup
    Coriander leaves - 3 tblspn finely chopped

    Method:

    Take black eyed peas in a bowl. Wash it well. Now cover it with water and soak it overnight. Next day drain the water, add it to pressure cooker, cover with fresh water and pressure cook for 3 whistle, simmer the flame and cook for 10 mins. Turn off the heat and let the steam go all by itself. Open the cooker and drain the liquid from the peas. Set aside.

    Now heat oil in a kadai. Add in cumin, fennel, cinnamon and saute for a min.

    Add in onions and green chillies along with salt and sugar. Saute till golden.

    Add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.

    Add in all spice powders and mix well.

    Add in tomato puree and cook till oil separates from it.

    Add in the cooked peas and mix well. Mix for 3 to 4 mins.

    Add in the milk and mix well. Simmer for 5 mins or so.

    Turn off the heat and add in coriander leaves and serve.

    Soak black eyed peas in lots of water

    Drain it and add it to pressure cooker

    Cover with fresh water

    Pressure cooker

    Cook till done

    Drain it

    Take all your ingredients

    Heat oil in a sauce pan

    add in all tempering items

    crackle it for a min

    add in onions and green chillies

    add in some salt and sugar

    saute till golden

    add in ginger garlic paste

    saute for a min

    add in spice powders

    mix well

    cook raw smell leaves away

    add in some tomato puree

    keep cooking

    cook till oil leave the sides of the pan

    add in cooked black eyed peas

    mix well

    pour in some milk

    mix well and simmer for few mins


    Simmer for few mins

    Serve
